Executive
Given the nature of the Micronesian Games and the small but active sporting community and leadership that manages the Micronesian Games and has kept it alive over the years, the Executive has by default remained small - this is the unit that keeps the Micronesian Games Council and its Members connected in between Games years.
The current Executives are Mr Aurelio Joab, Mr Joey Miranda III and Mr Terry Sasser. They work to keep communications open between Games and activate the host country sporting bodies as and when each edition of the Micronesian Games nears.
Mr Aurelio Joab
Aurelio Joab is a former Senator from Pohnpei. He is the newly elected President of the Federated States of Micronesia National Olympic Committee.
Mr Joey Miranda III
Mr Joey Miranda III currently serves as Secretary-General of the Micronesian Games Council.He is also a Board Member of the Guam National Olympic Committee, Sport Development and Compliance Officer, Lead Doping Control Officer and a Master Educator (ME) of the ONOC Oceania Sport Education Program.
Mr Terry Sasser
Mr Terry Sasser has worked to build sport in the Marshall Islands. He currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Marshall Islands National Olympic Committee. He has contributed to the preparation of Team Marshall Islands to the Olympic Games, Micronesian Games, Pacific Games, Pacific Mini Games, the East Asian Games and the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG).
